This disclosure supplements the Gev’s Recovery Notice of Privacy Practices and addresses how our website (gevsrecovery.com) uses limited online tracking technologies for advertising measurement and search visibility.

What we track and why

Gev’s Recovery Center uses limited online tracking technologies on our website to understand how visitors find us, measure the effectiveness of our online advertising, and improve our services. We are committed to handling this data responsibly and have configured our tracking systems to minimize the collection of personally identifying or sensitive health-related information.

Specific technologies used

Meta Pixel and Conversions API

We use Meta’s (formerly Facebook’s) Pixel and Conversions API to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. When configured on our site, these tools may collect:

• A pseudonymous identifier that allows Meta to recognize returning visitors
• Hashed (one-way encrypted) versions of your email address and phone number, only when you voluntarily submit them through one of our forms
• Your truncated IP address and general browser type
• The fact that you visited our website’s homepage or completed a form submission

We have configured these tools to:

• Never transmit specific page URLs containing health condition or treatment information
• Never transmit form field values beyond hashed contact identifiers
• Strip identifying information server-side before forwarding to Meta
• Use Meta’s Limited Data Use mode for visitors located in California

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to understand how our site appears in Google search results. This tool reports aggregate, anonymized data about search queries and click-through rates.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertising platforms or data brokers.
• We do not transmit health condition information, treatment details, insurance information, or any free-text form content to advertising or analytics providers.
• We do not use third-party tracking on pages where you are filling out medical intake or insurance verification forms beyond the hashed identifiers described above.

Your rights and choices

Opt out of advertising tracking

You can opt out of Meta-based advertising by adjusting your ad preferences at:

• Facebook: facebook.com/adpreferences
• Instagram: in-app Settings → Privacy → Activity Status

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), you have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We have configured Meta to operate in Limited Data Use mode for visitors we identify as California residents. Browser-level controls

You can install browser extensions like Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, or use private browsing modes to block tracking technologies entirely.
