Chef-Prepared Meals DailyLuxury rehab programs at GEVS Recovery starts with this question, most clients need a combination but you dont have to know this to start. We are here to support and our expert team ensures even if you don’t know what you need when you call, thats normal and we will identify the right path with you. For most individuals who call a detox protocol comes first if medically indicated, following that a tailored residential program, with dual-diagnosis treatment in parallel when multiple diagnosis are present. These components are determined by clinical assessment on day one, and insurance often covers the path. We map the right combination during admissions, not after intake. Verify your insurance and the conversation starts on the same call. The page categories below — Detox, Residential, Dual Diagnosis, Professionals — are not exclusive options. They are layers that often run together.
Detox is the medical clearance phase — 5 to 14 days. Residential is the clinical rebuild — 30 to 90 days. Both are inpatient, but they have different intensities and goals. Detox stabilizes the body. Residential rebuilds the mind and emotions when entering early recovery. Most clients need both, on the same campus with the same medical and clinical team carrying through. See drug detox and drug residential for the details.
Dual diagnosis is multiple diagnosis’ or issues co-occurring. We have seen most clients admitting for a substance use disorder have, in most cases also struggled with a mental health diagnosis — depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar, burnout. We treat both in parallel, because substance use is often self-medication for the underlying condition(s). Integrated psychiatric and addiction medicine team coordinates daily, not in weekly handoffs. Six conditions are covered here with dedicated tracks. See depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, bipolar, and burnout tracks.
Yes, most major commercial insurers cover inpatient addiction treatment under Substance use disorder (SUD) parity Laws — Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon Behavioral Health, UnitedHealthcare, Magellan Health, Empire Plan / NYSHIP, MultiPlan among them. Same-day verification by our admission team with no commitment to a specific path before the cost picture is clear. Out-of-network options often work when in-network is thin.
